As an additional service we are able to recycle our customers waste gold leaf to recover the gold content. The gold recovery can be achieved whether this be the scraps of gold left on gold leaf transfer tissue paper or the gold in loose gold leaf skewings.

Gold Recycling from Transfers and Skewings

One point to bear in mind is that the type of waste you have determines how much you need to collect before it is a worthwhile proposition to recycle. For example - from our experience you need to have about 4 kilos in weight of transfer papers before this becomes worthwhile processing on it own. However, if you have loose skewings that are clean of any size, etc., you may only need about 20 - 30 grams for gold recycling. Please note that it is almost impossible to give an accurate value of your waste until after it has been processed. Various factors govern what impurities your waste will contain and almost every case is individual.
